A Fire Safety Awareness Program was organized by NSS UNIT-MGIT on 24th March 2023 with the objective of creating awareness on fire safety among the teaching and non-teaching staff and students. 125 participants were in the event and learned about the causes, prevention, and response for fire accidents. The program included a presentation on fire safety rules and regulations, a demonstration of fire extinguishers and other equipment, and a mock drill of evacuation. The program was informative and interactive and helped the participants to gain knowledge and skills on fire safety. The program also emphasized the importance of being alert and responsible in case of any fire emergency.
